The Amherstburg Admirals are pleased to announce the acquisition and signing of forward Jake Archer.
Archer, 21, played this past season with the Essex 73’s, finishing third on the team in both goals (18) and points (36), while helping his team to a first-place regular-season finish in the Stobbs West division.
Prior to his season in Essex, the Windsor native made stops at higher junior levels with the LaSalle Vipers of the GOJHL and the Markham Royals of the OJHL.
“We are very fortunate and excited to welcome Jake to the Admirals,” said General Manager Andrew Sykes. “With his ability and experience, we feel that we have added one of the better returning players in our division. Jake will be a key player for us on the ice, and a leader off of it.”
A right-shot winger, Jake will wear #27 for the upcoming season.
