The Amherstburg Admirals suffered a lopsided 5-1 defeat at the hands of the Mooretown Flags on Saturday night in Mooretown, bringing the series to 3-2 in favour of the Admirals as it shifts back to Amherstburg for Game 6 on Tuesday night.
Landon Marcy’s goal with under a minute left in the second period broke a 1-1 and shifted the momentum to the Flags who would go on to score three more times in the third period.
Admirals forward Stefan Djordjevic opened the scoring in the first period, but it would be the last of the scoring for the visitors who lost out on their first chance to wrap up the series. They will have their second chance to do so on Tuesday night, this time on home ice, with Game 6 set for 7:00 PM at the Libro Credit Union.
