Admirals Drop Weekend Home Games Amid Roster Changes

The Amherstburg Admirals dropped a pair of one-goal games to close out a busy week both on and off the ice.

The Admirals dropped games to Essex, Blenheim, and Lakeshore but bolstered their lineup with the additions of forward Charlie Coristine and defenseman Ryan Clark. After a lopsided loss in Essex on Tuesday, the Admirals fell a goal short against both Blenheim and Lakeshore, despite the strong efforts of goaltender Dom De Zorzi.

The losses really didn’t cause much of a drop in the standings for the Admirals who remain in a tie for fourth-place in the Stobbs division. Third-place Wheatley sits two points ahead of Amherstburg, while sixth-place Blenheim is only one back.
