Admirals Sign Windsor Native Travis Knight

The Amherstburg Admirals are pleased to announce the signing of defenseman Travis Knight.

The 17-year-old Knight is a Windsor native who most recently played with the Windsor Jr. Spitfires U18 team, where he was a Bluewater All-Star. He also previously played for A21 Academy.

“Travis is a player who had been at the top of our list since Prospects Camp in April, and then at our recent summer skates he really forced our hand with his play,” said General Manager Andrew Sykes. “Travis plays the game with a ton of poise and smarts, to go along with being a quality skater. His elusiveness, vision, and passing are very welcomed assets to our blueline.”

A left-shot defenseman, Knight will wear #14 for the upcoming season.
