Turnaround Season Ends In Series Loss To Lakeshore

The Amherstburg Admirals saw their season come to an end with a 4-1 loss to the Lakeshore Canadiens in Game 4 of the Stobbs Semifinals on Thursday night in Amherstburg.

Charlie Coristine opened the scoring early in the first period, but it would be the only scoring for the Admirals who fell victim to the four-time Stobbs division champions and reigning Schmalz Cup champions for the fourth straight game to bring their season to an end.

It was a successful turnaround season for the Admirals who advanced to the playoff seimifinals for the first time in six years, by way of their first-round victory over the Wheatley Sharks. The team was also the only Stobbs team to defeat division powerhouses Essex and Lakeshore in the regular-season. For these marks, the Admirals coaching staff was awarded Coaching Staff of the Year in the Stobbs Division for the first time in franchise history.

Big thanks to all our sponsors and fans for all the support this season. And further thanks goes out to our staff, volunteers, parents, and of course our players. Without your support and collective efforts there is no season, and the Admirals would not have made these achievements.
